Internal Medicine Residency Curriculum - Morristown

residents in a teaching session

The Morristown Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program runs a schedule via a 6 + 2 model in which our residents have a cycle of six weeks of inpatient/elective/consult blocks followed by two weeks of ambulatory medicine. This provides a wonderful longitudinal outpatient ambulatory care experience, both for residents in training, and for patients with their residency physicians. Our preliminary interns also receive ambulatory experience, both through a core rotation and elective opportunities. All rotation blocks are two weeks in duration.
