Message from the Chief Nursing Officer at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Brandee A. Fetherman, MSN, RN, CENP, CCRN, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

As the CNO at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, I am proud of our well-established reputation for nursing excellence and of our steadfast commitment to our foundational values of purpose, respect, innovation, diversity & inclusion and extraordinary caring.

Our culture of quality nursing has led us to achieve our Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center six times – a feat that only 2% of all health care organizations have accomplished worldwide.

Nursing at our award-winning hospital has changed dramatically since we opened our doors nearly 130 years ago.  We use evidence-based practice and research to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, and we remain on the cutting edge of the latest advancements and innovations in nursing and medicine.  Our nurses provide incredible contributions to the patient’s overall experience as highly trained, compassionate caregivers, advocates, educators and collaborators.

At Atlantic Health, we are always looking for ways to improve and innovate. Our Center for Nursing Innovation & Research (CNIR) collaborates to creatively solve problems related to patient care and nurse work environments.

Our Magnet designation helps us to attract, recruit, and retain high quality nursing professionals and create pathways for development and advancement.  Our nurses are lifelong learners who are motivated and inspired to advance their profession through national certifications and advanced degrees.

Beyond our Magnet designation, nurses are vital contributors to Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center’s many outstanding awards and achievements.
