Atlantic Health System’s Parent Education Departments offer postpartum classes that can go a long way in keeping you and your new child healthy in the weeks and months following delivery.
Breastfeeding Support Group: “The First Weeks at Home and Beyond”
This class is offers an opportunity for breastfeeding mothers and their babies to engage in open discussion on how to breastfeed successfully. Topics include common issues that arise during feeding, returning to the workplace, and proper use of a breast pump and milk storage. Classes are held at Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center.

New Moms Support Group: “First Year Together”
New mothers can learn stress reduction and problem-solving skills, as well as how to connect with others. Light refreshments will be served.
Thursdays, 6:30 to 7:30pm
Classes are held at the Center for Mental Health at Newton Medical Center.
