A Message from the Program Director
The Division of Neonatology at Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center has a longstanding commitment to excellence in clinical care, scholarship, research, teaching, and collaboration. We pride ourselves on our family-centered neonatal care, provided in a setting that values and fosters academic achievement and personal development. We are a tight-knit group, where professional opportunities abound and work/life balance is attainable.
We have taught residents and medical students in our NICUs at Atlantic Health System for decades; and we recognize, not only the importance of training the next generation of competent and compassionate clinicians, but also the benefits that teaching brings to our practice.
Therefore, while Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program may be new, we expect it to be mighty. Due to the limited number of fellows in our program, you should expect to have maximum, hands-on clinical exposure, with robust mentorship from our attendings and other subspecialists. Your experience will be personalized, in order to ensure that you leave our program as highly-trained as possible – ready to achieve your career goals. Your training and growth is our priority: you will not be one among many fellows, rather you will be a priority.
We hope you will take the time to learn about all our fellowship program has to offer. We’d love for you to be a part of our team.
