Pediatric Radiology

At Atlantic Health System, we believe that children and adolescents require specialized radiology services. That’s why we provide ultrasound, X-ray and fluoroscopy examinations that are specific to the needs of pediatric patients and in many cases, meet image gently® recommendations.

For more advanced imaging services, such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or nuclear medicine, child patients are referred to Atlantic Health System's Radiology Department.

Our staff includes a radiologist who is board-certified and fellowship-trained in pediatrics and technologists who have extensive experience working with children. They’ll collaborate with Child Life specialists to answer all of your questions and help you and your child feel at ease.

  • Walk-in appointments available Monday through Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays 7:00am to 3:00pm for simple x-ray only.
  • Advanced imaging patients ages 13 and under must be scheduled at Morristown Medical Center where there is a pediatric radiologist available. Please be advised we cannot accept prescriptions from a Chiropractor at any of our hospital locations. We can only accept chiropractor prescriptions at our Atlantic Imaging Services freestanding facilities.
